1. 이 게임의 규칙은 하나뿐1. This game has only one rule
"수상하면 눌러보고, 궁금하면 검색하라." UNFOLLOW에는 별도의 조작법이 없습니다. 게임 화면 전체가 하나의 SNS이고, 여러분은 평소 SNS를 쓰듯 피드를 스크롤하고, 프로필을 열고, 팔로워 목록을 훑으면 됩니다. 다른 점은 단 하나 — 여기서는 그 모든 행동이 수사라는 것.
"If it looks suspicious, tap it. If you're curious, search it." UNFOLLOW has no special controls to learn. The whole screen is a single social network, and you just scroll the feed, open profiles, and skim follower lists exactly as you would on any SNS. The only difference is that here, every one of those actions is detective work.
2. 피드 수사의 기본기2. The fundamentals of feed investigation
- 날짜와 시간을 보세요. 게시물이 올라온 시각은 그냥 장식이 아닙니다. 알리바이는 타임라인에서 무너집니다.
- 사진의 배경을 보세요. 인물 뒤에 찍힌 것들 — 거울, 창밖 풍경, 테이블 위 물건 — 이 본문보다 많은 것을 말할 때가 있습니다.
- 댓글의 말투를 기억하세요. 같은 사람이 다른 계정에서 쓴 말버릇은 숨겨지지 않습니다.
- 팔로워 목록을 훑으세요. 등장인물이 서로 어떻게 연결되어 있는지가 사건의 지도입니다.
- Check the dates and times. The timestamp on a post isn't just decoration. Alibis fall apart on the timeline.
- Look at the backgrounds of photos. What's caught behind a person — a mirror, the view out a window, an object on a table — sometimes says more than the caption does.
- Remember how people talk in the comments. The verbal tics one person uses across different accounts can't stay hidden.
- Skim the follower lists. How the cast connects to one another is the map of the case.
3. 검색창을 두려워하지 마세요3. Don't be afraid of the search bar
게시물에 지나가듯 등장한 이름, 가게 상호, 해시태그 — 궁금하면 일단 검색하세요. 피드에 보이지 않던 계정과 게시물이 검색으로만 발견되는 경우가 많습니다. 수사가 막혔다면 십중팔구 "아직 검색해보지 않은 무언가"가 남아 있는 것입니다.
A name mentioned in passing, a shop's name, a hashtag — if it makes you curious, search it. Plenty of accounts and posts never show up in the feed and can only be found through search. If your investigation stalls, nine times out of ten there's still "something you haven't searched yet."
4. 잠긴 계정 여는 법4. How to open locked accounts
일부 계정은 비밀번호로 잠겨 있습니다. 비밀번호는 무작위 대입이 아니라 추리로 풉니다. 사람들이 실제로 비밀번호를 만드는 방식을 떠올려보세요 — 반려동물 이름, 기념일, 좋아하는 것들. 그 정보는 이미 다른 게시물 어딘가에 공개되어 있습니다. "이 사람이라면 비밀번호를 뭘로 했을까?"라고 스스로에게 물어보세요.
Some accounts are locked with a password. You crack them not by brute force but by deduction. Think about how people actually make their passwords — a pet's name, an anniversary, the things they love. That information is already public somewhere in another post. Ask yourself, "If this were their account, what would they have used as the password?"
5. 답 입력이 안 통과될 때5. When your answer won't go through
중요한 추리는 답을 직접 타이핑합니다. 정답인 것 같은데 통과가 안 된다면 — 핵심 단어를 빠뜨렸는지 확인해보세요. 장황하게 쓰기보다 "누가/무엇이 + 왜"가 담긴 간결한 문장이 잘 통합니다.
For the big deductions, you type in the answer yourself. If you're sure you're right but it won't accept it, check whether you left out a key word. A concise sentence that captures "who/what + why" works better than something long-winded.
6. 증거 선택과 엔딩6. Choosing evidence, and the endings
사건의 마지막에는 모은 단서 중 결정적 증거 3개를 골라 공론화합니다. 여기서 중요한 것: 범인을 맞히는 것과 증명하는 것은 다릅니다. "심증"이 아니라 "물증"을 고르세요 — 그 증거가 없으면 범인의 거짓말이 성립하는, 그런 증거요. 증거 조합이 약하면 여론이 등을 돌리고 다른 엔딩을 보게 됩니다. 사건마다 엔딩이 4가지이니, 최고 엔딩을 못 봤다면 다시 도전할 가치가 있습니다.
At the end of a case, you pick 3 decisive pieces of evidence from the clues you've gathered and take them public. The key thing here: guessing who did it and proving it are two different things. Choose "hard evidence," not "a hunch" — the kind of evidence that, without it, the culprit's lie would still hold up. If your combination is weak, public opinion turns against you and you'll see a different ending. Each case has 4 endings, so if you didn't reach the best one, it's worth another try.
7. 막혔을 때7. When you're stuck
- 의뢰인의 DM을 기다리세요. 일정 시간 진전이 없으면 힌트가 단계적으로 도착합니다.
- 지금까지 모은 단서를 다시 읽어보세요. 처음엔 의미 없어 보였던 게시물이 새 정보와 만나 의미를 갖는 순간이 이 게임의 백미입니다.
- 그래도 막히면 잠시 쉬세요. 진행은 자동 저장됩니다.
- Wait for a DM from your client. If you make no progress for a while, hints arrive step by step.
- Re-read the clues you've gathered so far. The moment a post that seemed meaningless at first suddenly matters once it meets new information is the highlight of this game.
- If you're still stuck, take a break. Your progress saves automatically.
